Ballarat has a range of outdoor pools and water play facilities to utilise during the warmer months.

Eureka Aquatic Centre
EUREKA WILL CLOSE FOR THE SEASON ON MONDAY 21 APRIL (EASTER MONDAY) AT 12PM

Eureka Aquatic Centre features a range of facilities including heated 50m pool, learn to swim pool, shaded toddlers pool, outdoor water play park, playground, kiosk and BBQ facilities.
Opening Hours outside School Holidays:
- Monday to Friday: 6am to 10am and 4pm to 7pm
- Saturday: 6am to 6pm
- Sunday and Public Holidays: 8am to 6pm
Eureka will open 6am – 7pm weekdays on days where the forecast temperature is 30 degrees or above.
Opening Hours during School Holidays:
- Monday to Friday: 6am to 7pm
- Saturday: 6am to 6pm
- Sunday and Public Holidays: 8am to 6pm
- Closed Christmas Day and Good Friday

Black Hill Aquatic Centre features a solar heated 25m outdoor pool, toddlers pool, and BBQ and picnic facilities.
The pool will be closed on days where the temperate will be 22 degrees or below.
During the 2024-25 summer season, the pool will be open during the following hours:
- Outside of school holidays
- Monday to Friday: 4pm to 7pm
- Weekends and public holidays: 1pm to 6pm
- During school holidays
- Monday to Friday: 1pm to 7pm
- Weekends and public holidays: 1pm to 6pm
