Come and Try Balance Play
Friday 22nd November 2024 | Session 1 @1:15pm, Session 2 @2:15pm

Join our gymnastics team for a 45 minute Balance Play class! Suitable for toddlers through to five years, Balance Play assists in developing fundamental motor skills and self-confidence within a social environment. A 1:1 ratio between child and carer is required to attend. Please select ONE session only.

Kids Go Free
Saturday 23rd November 2024 | 1:00pm – 6:00pm

Children aged 15 years or younger enjoy FREE casual swim entry between 1:00pm and 6:00pm. All patrons must abide by our Watch Around Water policy at all times. Families with children aged under 10 years will need to remember the following ratios of children to adults when visiting:
Children under 5 years: 1 adult to 2 children
Children under 10 years: 1 adult to 4 children
Families who do not have enough adults to actively and safely supervise children in and around the water will not be able to enter the centre.

Giant 50m Pool Inflatable
Sunday 24th November 2024 | 11:00am – 1:45pm

Tackle the giant inflatable – can you make it across without falling in? There will be 3x 45 minute sessions running on the hour from 11:00am. Participants must be over the age of 10 years, be confident swimmers and pass a 25m swim test at the start of the session in order to participate. Each session will be capped at 15 participants. All booked participants will need to check in and collect a wristband from Customer Service on arrival. A free swim is included before/after the session.

City of Ballarat Community Engagement Pop-Up

Drop by and chat directly to Council staff and help shape the direction and priority areas for the next four years through the development of the new 2025-29 Council Plan and Community Vision Review. Your feedback will help Council understand the needs of Ballarat residents and in turn helps to understand how best to prioritise spending and advocacy. This session, hosted in our Studio 3 space, is aimed at those who want to explore Ballarat Libraries’ digital and online services. The team from Ballarat Libraries will provide an overview of the services and information on how to install apps such as Borrow Box, Kanopy, ULibrary, Libby, StoryBox and more. Face Painting

NEW EVENT! Swim Survival Workshop
Saturday 7th December 2024 | 2:00pm – 4:00pm

Hosted by Ballarat Youth Services, this engaging session is designed for young people aged 18 and up who are looking to learn or enhance their skills. Welcoming all levels, especially beginners, dive into essential swim survival techniques, including balancing in the water and using boogie boards effectively.  If you want to improve your safety and confidence in the water, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
