We are excited to be reopening again Friday 18 June.
Capacity limits will be in place, following Victorian Government restrictions, so please follow the guidance of Centre staff.
All memberships will be reactivated on Friday 18 June. A scheduled direct debit will run on this day and members will be charged for the following two weeks.
Face masks must be worn in the Centre unless you are swimming or participating in vigorous exercise.
You must continue to register with the Victorian Government app on arrival at the Centre.
Please note the following restrictions that will be in place
- You must continue to book Group Fitness classes online before arriving
- Group Fitness studios will have capped numbers
- Studio 1 cap: 36
- Studio 2 cap: 18
- Studio 3 cap: 20
- The Pool Hall is limited to 300 people
- Children’s swimming and gymnastics classes will resume as normal.
- Gymnastics classes:
- Parents please note: the gymnastics viewing area has been reduced to 18.
- Balance and Crawl Play classes:
- One parent per child in the gymnastics hall
- Parents must wear masks during the session
- Gymnastics classes:

Important information to know before you arrive
- The Ballarat Aquatic and Lifestyle Centre (BALC) will return to normal operations on Friday 18 June 2021.

- Customers must wear a mask while attending the Centre unless participating in strenuous exercise or swimming.
- Everyone must check in with the Victorian Government app on arrival for each visit.
- Group Fitness classes must be booked online.

- Children’s swimming and gymnastics classes will resume as normal.
- Gymnastics classes:

- There will be a maximum of 300 customers allowed in the Pool Hall at one time.
- Customers are asked to use the provided wipes to clean Heath Club and Group Fitness equipment before and after use.
- Customers must bring a towel. No towel, no workout.
- Customers are asked to maintain 1.5m physical distance before, during and after their sessions.
- Centre staff will be regularly cleaning the Centre each day to ensure customers’ safety.
