Ballarat Aquatic & Lifestyle Centre (BALC) has officially opened its new Children’s Centre Outdoor Play Space!
Following extensive design consultation with children and educators, the much-loved Children’s Centre has recently received a complete overhaul of its outside play area by local contractors Ballarat Groundworks.
The new space has doubled in size and now includes cubby house, above ground sand play area, bike path, soft-fall area, grassed area, tee-pee and garden areas.
As a Child Friendly City, the City of Ballarat is committed to providing high quality facilities for all members of the community, including children and families.
The BALC Children’s Centre lets carers enjoy the full range of facilities knowing that their children are being cared for in a safe and welcoming environment. Affordable, quality childcare is available for children from 6 weeks to 10 years of age and is delivered by qualified educators.

Monday to Fridays 8:45am – 12:00pm

90 minutes: $7.50
2 hours: $10.00
3 hours: $15.00
