The Victorian Government rules for BALC changed on Friday 19 November. Now everyone who is aged over 12 years and 2 months will need to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination* to visit BALC, unless a medical exemption applies.
You will need to show you are fully vaccinated by presenting your COVID-19 certificate through:
- the Service Victoria app,
- Medicare app,
- smartphone wallet, or
- a printed version of your certificate or immunisation history statement.
If you are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19, you will need to show evidence of a valid exemption.
Healthy Kids, Gold, and Aquatic members will only need to show proof of vaccination once. You can do this anytime you visit.
If you are still waiting on your second vaccination appointment and are enrolled in gymnastics lessons, we will hold your place until Saturday 18 December.

*Children who are enrolled in swimming lessons don’t need to be vaccinated to attend their swimming lesson. To visit the Centre outside of their swimming lessons, they will need to be fully vaccinated.
